PROJECT ACHIEVEMENTS
The store is located in an urban area of Kaohsiung with plenty of access to public transportation. Free parking spaces are not provided for employees and everyone is encouraged to take public transport giving the store a high score for sustainability.
Bathroom facilities use high-efficiency water-saving equipment, energy consumption has been optimized and energy simulations show cost savings of 18.8%. The project’s total annual energy consumption is expected to be 19,514 kWh/year of electricity. IAQ monitors were installed to monitor PM2.5, TVOC & CO2, and an airflow meter helps to control and adjust the air conditioning system and ventilation according to environmental changes.
A power supply is installed on each desk surface of the office area, and a small personal fan is provided to adjust the thermal comfort according to personal preference. Air conditioning filters used were replaced with MERV13 level filters to maximize indoor air quality levels.
