RCI Sustainability Group has successfully supported JSL Group in obtaining both the UL Building Production History Verification and the UL Healthy Building Verification across its self-developed residential projects. With this achievement, JSL becomes the first housing developer in Taiwan to be certified under both international standards. This milestone signifies a major step forward for the housing industry - toward greater transparency, trust, and sustainability - and has been featured by major media outlets including CTS, United Daily News, and Business Today.

RCI: Translating Vision into Structured Practice
As the principal consultant, RCI led the end-to-end process of integrating the UL certifications. This included regulatory strategy, documentation, cross-team coordination, and on-site audit preparation. RCI helped transform JSL’s commitment to health and transparency into actionable protocols—such as standardized construction records, low-emission material replacement, and systematic testing of air and water quality.
“The value of a home should go beyond price or location,” said Shawn Jang, General Manager of RCI Group. “It’s about whether it protects health, offers transparency, and supports long-term sustainable living. This collaboration with JSL exemplifies how we help clients turn these ideals into measurable and certifiable systems.”

UL Certification: Building Trust and Health Into Every Stage
The UL Building Production History Verification provides a traceable record of construction quality at key milestones—covering structural works, MEP systems, and waterproofing. Meanwhile, the UL Healthy Building Verification evaluates indoor air and water quality, and ensures the use of low-emission materials, creating a healthier living environment for future occupants.
Rather than serving as a symbolic label, this dual certification forms a rigorous governance framework for quality assurance. Through RCI’s technical leadership, these standards become embedded in everyday building practice - bringing health, accountability, and sustainability together in one system.
