With this accomplishment, Yuli Branch becomes the first hospital in Taiwan to receive this international recognition. This milestone highlights the hospital’s dedication to patient and staff wellbeing, while also demonstrating RCI’s leadership and expertise in healthy building consulting.

Professional Guidance, Rigorous Certification

Under RCI’s advisory and implementation plan, Yuli Branch carried out a series of upgrades and passed UL’s rigorous three-month monitoring and testing process, which included:

  • HVAC system evaluation: Comprehensive inspection of ventilation, filtration, and maintenance procedures

  • Pollutant control: Ensuring compliance with international standards for formaldehyde, VOCs, and particulate matter

  • Combustion gas monitoring: Controlling harmful pollutants such as carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, and ozone within strict thresholds

  • Indoor environmental quality: Optimizing temperature, humidity, and hygiene practices

Upon completion of the verification, Yuli Branch officially received the UL Healthy Building Certification.
